Gretton Surgery

Gretton surgery is attended by Dr Pickering. When the surgery is closed enquiries and booking of appointments can be dealt with by contacting Uppingham Surgery, or for appointments with the doctor by using our online booking facility.

The midwife, Linda Lester is available for appointments on Tuesday mornings.

Flu Vaccination

Flu vaccination clinics have come to an end but this does not mean it is not still avalible to those who need it.

All eligible Patients* who would like a flu vaccination should contact the surgery or branch surgery to arrange an appointment with the Practice Nurse.

*All patients aged 65 and over and/or have a chronic disease, are a carer, have renal impairment or had a splenectomy.

If you are unsure if you fall into the criteria for flu vaccination and would like to discuss it further please contact the surgery.

Staff Training Sessions 2011

The Uppingham Surgery will be closed on Friday 13th May 1pm-4pm. In the case of an emergency or if you need to see a Doctor urgently during this period please call 07849 390578.

EXTENDED OPENING HOURS

To allow more flexibility of appointment times to suit patients who work long hours or commute, the Uppingham Surgery now has one GP available for a late surgery on Monday evenings from 6.30pm-8pm and on Saturday mornings from 8:15am-10.30am for prebookable routine appointments only (not emergencies). Directions To Gretton Surgery
From Uppingham take the A6003 out of the town towards Kettering/Corby. About ½ a mile up the hill turn left by the Uppingham Community College, towards Lyddington. Continue through Lyddington and out of the village until reaching a give way sign, turn right (road is in fact straight ahead), and 50 yards later left (again road is straight ahead) towards Gretton. Continue until T-junction where you turn left, under the bridge and up the hill into Gretton. Turn right opposite the church, then bear left at the Talbot Pub, then left again into High Street and left again into School Road. At the top of School Road, go straight across signed Recreation Ground/Doctors Surgery. The surgery is on your right at the end of the lane.
