Practice Opening Times

Reception Monday - Friday 8.00am - 6.00pm

Telephones Monday - Friday 8.00am - 6.00pm the telephone lines are closed from 12.30-1.15pm everyday

The practice encourages training for all members of the practice team and therefore the surgery is closed on the second Thursday afternoon of each month 1pm - 4pm.

Patient Rights and Responsibilites. You have the right to professional high quality primary care services from all the staff at your practice. You also have certain responsibilies, we expect you to be polite at all times and to cancel appointments that you are unable to keep. We will not tolerate violent, abusive, racist or sexist behaviour at any time; such behaviour may lead to a patient being removed from the practice list.

Comments and Suggestions We constantly try to improve the service we offer. Please let us know when you think we have done something well or if you have any suggestions to how we can do something better. A box is available on the reception desk for any comments and suggestions which may be anonymised or you can send them to the Practice for the attention of The Practice Manager Carol Bailey.

Making a Complaint We always endeavour to provide the best possible service to our patients, however there may be occasions when you feel that this has not happened. If you want to make a complaint or raise any concerns about the service you have received, a patient leaflet is available at reception which explains the process, alternatively please contact our practice manager, Carol Bailey. Complaints are always taken as a way of improving and learning and will be dealt with professionally.

Bury PCT provides details of primary medical services in Bury, they can be contacted on 0161 762 3100 and at 21 Silver Street, Bury, BL9 0EN.

Patient Records are only accessed by clinicans or staff when clinically necessary, if you wish to look at your medical records, you can make an appointment to view them in the presence of a Health Care Professional. Anonymised patients' data may be used for research that is in the best interests of patients and the NHS as a whole.

Registering With The Practice

Our receptionist team will be able to advise you on how to register with the Practice. You will be offered an appointment for an introductory health assessment, these are important both for you and the practice. If you do not have your medical card, alternative forms will be provided along with information on the National Summary Care Records Programme. You will be asked to attend prior to your health assessment to complete all forms in order to assist with the registration process. Our receptionists will be happy to help you.

Currently the surgery does not accept correspondence by email. When we are ready to do so we shall use this page to advise you of the email addresses that you may use.
