The Online Appointment Bookings link allows you to select a surgery appointment which has been reserved for booking online. Choose the slot that suits you, enter your details, and you can book yourself an appointment even during the night or weekend when the surgery is closed!! The system sends an email to the surgery so that they can know to expect you at that appointment, and removes that slot from the list of appointments offered on this website so that there will be no double bookings. You will see a booking confirmation on screen (which you can print out) and if you enter your email address you will receive a confirmation email.

The appointment system does not retain any of your details on this computer, it simply sends them by email to the practice. For this reason the system is as secure and confidential as any email, but if you are not happy to send your name, date of birth, phone number (and maybe also your email address) by email to the practice then you should not use this system. But in that case you probably shouldn't use the internet or ordinary email either!
