You may of course still order prescriptions in the usual way. However we now offer online repeat prescription ordering as an additional service. You need to enter the details of the items that you are requesting, enter details to identify yourself, and enter your email address if you wish to receive an email confirming the details of your request. Please note that you can only order items that have been agreed with your Doctor.
If you need to order more items than there are lines available, simply return to the page and enter the additional items as a new order.
The details of your request will be sent to the surgery by email. The receptionist will prepare your prescription for the doctor to check and sign. You need to allow 2 full working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays) and then you can collect the prescription from the surgery after 9:00 the following day.
Thus if you order now, the collection time will be after 10:00am Tuesday 7th of July. (Please allow 1 extra day after a Bank Holiday).
Alternatively you may prefer to collect your prescriptions from a Pharmacy for collection from there. You will need to arrange for the prescription to be collected from the surgery by the pharmacy. Many pharmacies do collect prescriptions from us regularly. You would still need to allow the same amount of time for your prescription to be prepared.
Many pharmacies will deliver prescriptions to people who find it difficult to collect their prescriptions and medication in person. Please notify us of which pharmacy you wish to use if this is the case.
Another option is to leave with the receptionist, in advance, a supply of Stamped Addressed Envelopes and select the option below to indicate that you would like the prescription to be posted using one of these envelopes. Please allow time for delays in the post. If you select that option but do not have any SAE's left at reception then the prescription will be left for you to collect in the usual way.
IMPORTANT “The only items that can be ordered are items that have been agreed with your Doctor as being available for repeat ordering. These are listed on the right hand side of your latest repeat prescription. Any other items that you might wish to order will need to be discussed with your Doctor and cannot be ordered via our Website”
