Telephone Advice

Many problems do not require a face-to-face consultation with a doctor or nurse and can be dealt with by telephone. This may save both you and us a lot of time, and it will help to ensure that appointments are available for those who definitely need to be seen. If you require a telephone consultation please ring before 10.00am. If your doctor is still consulting when you call, the receptionist will take your telephone number for the doctor to call you back when he or she is free, which will usually be after 11.30am.

Test Results

In oder to obtain results of hospital tests, please telephone between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. Please note that, because of confidentiality, information about patients, including test results, can normally only be given to the patient concerned.
