WHEN ORDERING REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS, PLEASE ORDER ENOUGH MEDICINES TO ENSURE YOU HAVE A 2 MONTH SUPPLY OF ALL YOUR DRUGS RATHER THAN ORDERING ONE AT A TIME. THIS WILL GREATLY HELP OUR ADMINISTRATORS. THANKS!
Repeat prescriptions may be ordered online. Please enter the details of the items that you are requesting, details to identify yourself and your e-mail address if you wish to receive an electronic message confirming the details of your request.
To use this service you must be a registered patient with Ardblair Medical Practice and have medicines authorised to be on a repeat medication system by one of the GPs.
If you need to order more items than there are lines available, simply return to the page and enter the additional items as a new order.
Of course, you may still order you prescriptions by handing in repeat slip to the practice or usual chemist or by posting the request to the surgery.
The details of your request will be sent to the surgery by electronic communication. The receptionist will prepare your prescription for the doctor to check and sign. Please allow 2 full working days (excluding weekends) and then your prescription will have been processed. You can collect it from the surgery after 15:00 the following day.
Thus if you order now, the collection time will be after 4:00pm Tuesday 25th of June.
If you choose one of the other collection points ot delivery, then your chemist will need another 24 hours to dispense your medicines - please check with them.
You can indicate by ticking the circles on the order form how you would like your prescription collected - e.g. at the surgery, or from Davidson's or Boots. Or, you may wish your prescription delivered if you are a recipient of that service from Davidson's.
IMPORTANT If the item you are requesting is not included on the list of repeat medications on the right hand side of your previous script it may take longer than 48 hours, and will be on a separate prescription.
